Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro crater is the world’s sixth-largest unbroken caldera with over 600 meters from rim to crater floor which covers over 250 square kilometers. Open short grass plains, acacia woodlands along with fresh and brackish water lakes, marshes, swamps cover the crater basin. The variety of environments leads to a stunning variety of wildlife and over 500 species of birds.
