Maasai Partnership in Tanzania
Partnership with the Ereto Maasai Youth organization of Tanzania to promote environmental conservation and community development, with an emphasis on women and children.
Natural Resource Stewardship in West Lunga, Zambia
A community driven initiative to rebuild conservation efforts for a national park in northwestern Zambia and the surrounding game management areas while at the same time providing economic opportunities to local communities.
The Muskwa-Kechika Conservation Initiative
The Kesho Trust is very pleased to be partnering in this important and challenging endeavour. The goal is to chart the future for a long range and viable conservation area amidst a whole host of different and competing land use interests within this region of British Columbia, Canada.
Partnership with Sustainable Cities
The Kesho Trust is a local partner in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania working to promote urban sustainability, address poverty and plan effectively to address environmental impacts of rapid urban growth and the impacts of climate change.
Protected Areas and Poverty Reduction Research Alliance
The Kesho Trust is a Tanzania community partner in a consortium of organizations participating in this three country program – Canada, Ghana and Tanzania. The research is focused on the inter-relationships between protected areas and local communities and the impacts – positive and negative – of conservation on local poverty.
Saving African Nature [SANA] Partnership
Our partnership with Saving African Nature [SANA] is focused on environmental conservation and community development primarily related to ecotourism in the Saadani National Park area of Tanzania.
