Wayne is a long-time logger, guide, trapper, sawmill worker, contractor, wilderness advocate and lifetime resident of northern British Columbia. In the early 1990’s Wayne began working on environmental issues becoming a full time conservation representative. During the past 15 years, he has been particularly active in grassroots networking among environmental, outfitting, trapping, conservation, first nations, and other interests with a special focus on the Muskwa-Kechika and continues to plan and lead annual M-K Expedition and Camps. Lorraine WaplingLorraine Wapling

Lorraine is a freelance international development consultant specialising in the area of social exclusion with a special focus on situations faced by disabled people in developing countries. She worked as a community development advisor for eight years in the East African countries of Uganda and Tanzania but for the past eight years her disability and development work has involved travelling extensively throughout sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and South-East Asia from her home base in the UK.
