The recent consultative discussion with women from both Loolera (Kiteto District) and Elerai (Kilindi District) represents a further outreach for the Kesho Trust to another Maasai village where collaboration can develop. As a neighbour to Elerai, it is also along the southern border of the Maasai Steppe and its population was recorded at 10,999 in the 2022 census. The village is known for its community and agricultural activities, which are central to the identity of the region.
