Almatasia Camp will contribute significantly to the social and economic fabric of Enguserosambu Ward. Employment will be a major contributor since the camp operation will require the services pf approximately 15 to 20 people working according to the level of use the camp achieves – the greater the use of the camp, the more full time employment will be created. There are also opportunities for local crafts to be sold at the camp. But most significantly, since the camp is a not-for-profit business, the profits will be turned over to the Enguserosambu Forest Trust to be used in community development projects.
