We were the first visitors to come to Almatasia Camp and the Kesho Trust had been a big proponent of the camp development. The people of Enguserosambu Ward had been hearing about our visit for a long time and were keen to come and greet the visitors. It was a wonderful reception of singing and dancing with so many people from different villages joining in the activities. The visitors were each presented with gifts on our arrival and we were introduced to leaders of the communities including the Village Chairman of Orkiu- Juu where Almatasia Camp is located and the Ward Counselor.
